So Very Lame

I know...I know, I'm lame. I've let the New Year come with no postings. None of the thoughtful, insightful commentary you've come to expect. I attribute this appalling lack of attention to you, my dear readers - all three of you and you know who you are - to the new X-Box system and all of the fine games I now own, and to the new porn site subscription (wow, the movies really are longer!). And yes, ladies, I am taken.

Anyhoo...I'll be back to posting, just as soon as I finish playing MechAssault, or Halo 2 (again) or Splinter Cell, or maybe................................

 A true comic genius has passed away today. One of the first comedy albums I remember listening to as a child is "The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart." His most famous shtick was the telephone conversation where the audience hears only his end of the call. The most famous and best of this is the " Introducing Tobacco to Civilization " skit.
