My internship with the Washington State Democrats is finally over, and I'm out of money for school, so it's time to start looking for a paying gig. I really hope I can get something in the IT industry, but I want to go somewhere and be a minion. For all intents and purposes, I was the Network Administrator while I was with the Dems , and most of the time I felt like I was out of my league. My boss was a good guy, but as I said here before, he attained his position in IT by being really good at data bases. he knows almost nothing about networks. So instead of learning from someone who knew what they were doing, I was put in a sink-or-swim kinda position. I'm not complaining, I really appreciate the opportunity I had with theDems because it showed me how much more I need to learn, but I spent a lot of my time there being very frustrated with my own inabilities.
