I'm sittin here watching John Kerry speak on C-Span's coverage, and I can tell that whoever is handling the hand-held camera on the floor is a young dude. He finds the obligatory minority, and then focuses on a cute girl.

 A true comic genius has passed away today. One of the first comedy albums I remember listening to as a child is "The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart." His most famous shtick was the telephone conversation where the audience hears only his end of the call. The most famous and best of this is the " Introducing Tobacco to Civilization " skit.

Bush on CNN

Sittin here watching Bush on CNN and he's talking about improving education and turning out students trained in math and science. And yet the republican controlled congress removed 13 billion dollars from the student aid program. Is he the very picture of hypocrisy? or just stupid?
