Stayed home today to get some stuff done. What a beautiful day in Seattle, huh? That sleet yesterday was a trip! I was dispatching in the morning when it happened and we had to pull folks off their bikes for about 30 minutes. Ah well, its good for a bike messenger to walk every once in a while, gives 'em perspective. Anyway, I'm kinda glad its at least colder. The sleet yesterday and the coldness lately make my prediction of snow in March much more believable.
A true comic genius has passed away today. One of the first comedy albums I remember listening to as a child is "The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart." His most famous shtick was the telephone conversation where the audience hears only his end of the call. The most famous and best of this is the " Introducing Tobacco to Civilization " skit.
